Auburn University Harrison School of Pharmacy Postdoctoral Fellowship in Forensic Drug Chemistry The Harrison School of Pharmacys Department of Pharmacal Sciences is seeking motivated and independent post-doctoral candidate applicants to assist with research and development of new research projects in the areas of forensic drug chemistry and analysis. Candidate will be expected to carry-out and oversee daily laboratory operations, including graduate and professional students. Candidate should have knowledge and experience in organic synthesis and purification, mass spectrometry, advanced separation science (GC and HPLC) and forensic drug chemistry. Candidates should have experience in mass spectrometry and general organic structure elucidation techniques. A Ph.D. in medicinal chemistry or related field is required and a background in pharmacy is desired. The position is a 3-year term appointment with re-appointment dependent on continued funding. Salary commensurate with education and experience and starting date is negotiable. Candidates selected for this position must be able to meet eligibility requirements for work in the United States at the time of appointment and be able to communicate effectively in English.
