Lambent Technologies, a rapidly growing Division of
Petroferm, Inc. is seeking an Entry Level Technical
Marketing Professional in our suburban Chicago
office. The qualified individual will be responsible for
coordinating and assisting with the marketing activities
of Lambent Technologies, including advertising, direct
mailing, printing, customer events and trade shows. Some
of our major Product lines include
surfactants,emulsifiers,emollients and specialty waxes.
Chemical
Marketing - Entry Level Opportunity!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the
creation, maintenance, printing, editing, and
management of all sales literature, website
information, and internal documentation.
- Coordinate details
for all marketing programs including trade shows,
imprinted promotional items, corporate logo
attire, directory listings, mass mailings, ads,
and submissions to publications. At the
discretion of the Market Manager, this will
require being present at select trade shows.
- Account for
expenditures and ensure payments are being made
to vendors and directories.
- Assist in the
generation and compilation of select market
research.
- Compile and
disseminate sales leads that are obtained via
tradeshows, Market Managers, etc.
- Assist in the
generation of training tools for and the training
of Lambent’s sales team and respective sales
channels.
- Complete necessary
documents from customers for product approvals.

Requirements
Education and/or Experience:
- Minimum of 0-2 years
demonstrated experience in sales and/or marketing
with chemical ingredients.
- Bachelor’s
degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or
related field.
- Outstanding
interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent written
communication skills a must.
Since this is an
entry level marketing position, candidates
with no experience are required to have a
background in chemistry, chemical engineering or a
related field.
