NSVSC is a leading 24/7 multidisciplinary referral hospital located on Sydney’s North Shore. Our specialists in Surgery, Internal Medicine, Anaesthesia, Emergency & Critical Care, Exotics, Cardiology and Oncology work alongside experienced clinicians and highly skilled support staff to deliver exceptional patient care in a truly collaborative environment.

Our purpose-built facility is equipped to support the highest standard of cardiology care, including:

• Full interventional suite, including pacemaker implantation capacity
• In-house echocardiography (dedicated GE Vivid S60N ultrasound), ECG and Holter monitoring
• Comprehensive diagnostic imaging — a 128-slice GE CT scanner and a Siemens 1.5T MRI
• Digital X-ray, fluoroscopy and endoscopy
• Fully equipped in-house laboratory (biochemistry, haematology and blood gas)

About the Role

As a senior cardiologist, you’ll have the opportunity to join an established referral service with a diverse clinical caseload. You’ll provide specialist consultations, echocardiography and interventional cardiac procedures.

Working closely with our Internal Medicine, Surgery and Emergency & Critical Care teams, you’ll contribute to a collaborative multidisciplinary approach to complex cases and help shape the future growth of the cardiology service.

This is a predominantly weekday-based position, with no routine weekend roster. Occasional on-call availability may be required for urgent cardiology cases, with an appropriate call-in fee.

About you

• Diplomate status (ACVIM (Cardiology), ECVIM-CA (Cardiology), FANZCVS or equivalent)
• Eligibility for veterinary registration in New South Wales
• A passion for mentoring, collaboration and delivering exceptional patient care
• A desire to lead and grow an established cardiology service
