This role reports into KitPackers, LLC, an Ellsworth Corporation company, located in Germantown, WI. We are open to hiring at a Senior Level role for well qualified candidates. Candidates will be able to work on-site at our facility in Germantown, WI.

You will support the development, scale-up, and optimization of chemical processes and product formulations within a Business Unit. You will also investigate quality issues, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure products meet safety, performance, and cost standards. Additionally, you will apply engineering principles to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
Responsibilities
- Conducts root cause analysis and implements corrective/preventive actions for internal and external quality incidents (Sr level candidates will be able to lead and direct these activities with the team)
- Supports the commercialization of new products by developing and validating manufacturing processes and quality specifications
- Performs in-process batch adjustments and supports production scaling to meet product specifications
- Analyzes production and test data to identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction
- Participates in the disposition of non-conforming materials and supports deviation management (Sr level candidates will also be able to assess cost and responsibility)
- Senior level candidates will have experience coaching and mentoring other engineers on projects and processes and lead continuous improvement activities.

Qualifications
3+ years of engineering or quality experience in chemical processing or related field (5+ years' experience for Sr level candidates)
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach (Sr level candidates will be able to synthesize complex information to maximize efficiencies while mitigating risk)
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated ability to manage customer concerns with professionalism and empathy (Sr level candidates must have a strong track record of managing difficult or emotional customer situations)
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with process control, statistical analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Occasional Travel < 5%
- Working knowledge of regulatory standards and chemical safety, including interpreting Safety Data Sheets and Technical Data Sheets to support safe and compliant manufacturing operations
