- Frank and Sally Mallory Postdoctoral Fellowship in Chemistry
Description
The Department of Chemistry at Bryn Mawr College invites applications for a full-time, one-year postdoctoral position to begin August 1, 2026 for the 2026-2027 academic year. Renewal of the position for an additional year is possible pending a successful review of teaching evaluations and departmental staffing needs. A Ph.D. degree is required by the start date.
This is a combined teaching and research fellowship in the area of biological chemistry. Strong proficiency in standard biochemical techniques, including molecular cloning and protein expression and purification, is highly desirable. Although not required, the ideal candidate will also have experience in membrane protein biochemistry or structural biology. The teaching responsibilities will also be in the area of biochemistry, with the expectation that the fellow will teach one course per semester.
