ENGINEERING INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER II: Abbott Cardiovascular Systems, an Abbott Labs Co., in Temecula, CA. Lead & coordinate multiple continuous improvement (CI) projects (Lean six-sigma) and Kaizen events. Bachelors or foreign equiv in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or in rltd engineering fld of study w/ min. 3 yrs of pro manufacturing engineering environment exp. Must possess min. 1 yr of exp in: (i) coordinating multiple CI projects (Lean six-sigma) and Kaizen events using Gemba Walks, 5's, Visual Management, Value Stream Mapping & rltd Lean Six Sigma methodologies; (ii) using Timer Pro software to generate time & motion studies for direct labor standard work; (iii) identifying & designing value stream & qualitative & quantitative project metrics & KPIs to measure improvement successes; (iv) utilizing Power BI dashboards to compile & present improvement measurements; & (v) applying & implementing Shingo Prize Operational Excellence Model.
