The Department of Chemistry at National University of Singapore invites applications for a few faculty positions at the assistant professor level, with an expected start date of 1 July 2026 (earlier start is possible). We will consider creative and energetic candidates who show promise or accomplishment in research and teaching in all areas of chemistry. Candidates in the following fields are encouraged to apply:

CV with a complete list of publications
Three letters of reference, including one from the applicant’s main supervisor (to be sent directly by the external referees to junechan@nus.edu.sg). The letters of reference should compare [the candidate] with your group members who have recently found faculty positions, specifically, [list their names with their current faculty positions].
A statement of research and a 3-page research plan with a proposed start-up research budget and utilization plan.
Requirements
Successful candidates would be expected to
1) have a Ph.D. in chemistry or relevant disciplines and preferentially with postdoctoral experience
2) possess a strong track record of publications
3) establish an internationally recognized research program
4) be competitive for external research funding
5) have a strong commitment to teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels, and
6) supervise undergraduate, master and doctoral students
