We seek a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Synthetic Organic Chemistry to work at the Moscow campus. This highly collaborative, interdisciplinary scientist is expected to establish a strong, extramurally funded research program and fosters collaborations across the college and university. Expertise in applying artificial intelligence to chemical synthesis is desirable. The position is particularly well-suited for candidates with research interests in drug discovery, biomedical applications, or the development of sustainable methods and materials.
Appropriate WORK AUTHORIZATION is required for this position. New H-1B visa sponsorship from University of Idaho will not be supported until further notice. Requirements
Required:
Ph.D. in Chemistry Experience in the field of synthetic organic chemistry. Experience as researcher and teacher.
Preferred:
