THE COMPANY

BioQual Solutions is a bioanalytical Service lab based in San Diego, California. We specialize in high-sensitivity LC-MS/MS quantitation of small molecules, peptides, and oligonucleotides to support both non-GLP and GLP studies. 

THE POSITION

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Bioanalytical Intern to join our laboratory team. This hands-on internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in a fast-paced regulated laboratory environment. Working alongside experienced scientists, you will assist with sample preparation, laboratory maintenance, and learn the fundamentals of LC-MS/MS analysis.

Requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Sample Prep: Assist with basic bioanalytical sample extraction (e.g., protein precipitation).
• Lab Operations: Prepare mobile phases/buffers, manage chemical inventory, and support general lab maintenance.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate, thorough records in laboratory notebooks.
• Project Support: Help scientific staff with routine instrument checks and daily workflows.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: Currently pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or a related scientific discipline (Upperclassmen preferred).
• Lab Skills: Basic familiarity with pipettes, centrifuges, and standard lab equipment.
• Attributes: Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and eager to learn.
• Availability: Able to commit to 15–20 hours per week (flexible around class schedules).
