Bimbo Bakeries USA, Inc. seeks Manager Change Architect based from Irving, TX to facilitate and support the execution of continuous improvement activities in fast-paced manufacturing environments across regional bakeries. Domestic travel up to 50%. Position may be performed remotely from any location in the United States. Duties include: Ensure process compliance and appropriate continuous improvement (CI) tools are in place and fully utilized in order to facilitate associate empowerment and promote a culture of data driven decision making; Perform data analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings and waste reduction; Provide hands on support to operations management to assist in identification, development, communication and execution of manufacturing transformation plans; Work closely with production, maintenance, sanitation, quality and distribution to reduce waste, increase machine productivity and improve product quality; Ensure that facility improvement initiatives support corporate strategy and goals and General Plant Safety, Food Safety, Food Defense Initiatives and Good Manufacturing Practices; Work with other functional areas to drive change through the facility to deliver cost savings targets within the plant operating activities; Collaborate with the manufacturing transformation and plant operations teams during the preparation, analysis, planning and implementation stages, while incorporating safety and quality standards in a continuous improvement environment; Lead small team Agile kaizen events on routine basis. Analyze data, prepare reports, organize events and ensure follow-up actions plans are completed; Direct liaison with region Bakery leadership teams to build skills and capabilities in alignment with our E5 Behaviors insuring standardization and sustainability of Manufacturing Transformation elements; Direct liaison with front line supervision on design and implementation of Standard Work; Deliver new and incumbent training & coaching to operations managers, change architects, associates and others as needed for Manufacturing Transformation fundamentals; Provide Change Management support for Digital Workplace and adoption of new processes; Collaborate with Maintenance Transformation and/or Plant Engineer on implementation of new systems or enhancement to existing equipment systems; Prepare and give formal presentations to management on project status and deliverables; Conduct process studies to discover opportunities for increased line effectiveness; Prepare statistical analysis of process capability to implement improved controls; and Provide assistance in design and execution of various projects (systems and floor). POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering. Required experience includes 2 years involving each of the following: Operations, Quality, or Food Safety experience in manufacturing environment; Leadership of cross-functional teams and facilitation of Root Cause Problem Solving and Training; Continuous improvement in relation to safety, good manufacturing practice (GMP), waste reduction, labor, line running efficiencies, and sanitation; and Implementation of continuous improvement (CI) methodologies, such as SMED, 5s, Gemba Walks, 5 Whys, and DMAIC, in a manufacturing setting. $111,331.79 - $146,400.00.
