- Postdoctoral Fellow in Biochemistry and Physiology of Ion Channel Signaling Complexes
Description
A full-time postdoctoral fellow position is available in Dr. Jiusheng Yan's lab in the Division of Anesthesiology and Critical Care at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. We seek a highly motivated and creative researcher to participate in studies of ion channel signaling complexes at the molecular, cellular, and animal levels. The research will involve biochemical and functional characterization of mammalian ion channel signaling complexes involving multidisciplinary techniques of patch-clamp electrophysiology, protein purification, cryo-EM structural analysis, or genetic rodent animal models and neurological behavioral tests.
Requirements
Applicants should have a PhD degree within 5 years. Prior research experience in patch-clamp recording, protein purification, cryo-EM, mass spectrometry, or animal behavioral neuroscience is preferred but not required.
