Description

Multiple postdoctoral Fellow and Research assistant positions are available at the Life Science Imaging Center, Hong Kong Baptist University. LSIC is equipped with 3T MRI Prisma, electroencephalogram (EEG) , Functional near infra-red spectroscopy (fNIRS), Eyetracking, and Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) system. The postdoctoral fellow will be expected to contribute to interdisciplinary research projects, lead independent research under the supervision of center directors, and publish papers as first author. For postdoctoral fellows, fluency in English is required. Proficiency in Mandarin or Cantonese is a plus, but not mandatory.

The research assistant will be responsible for subject recruitment, data collection, preliminary data processing, administrative tasks, and occasional MRI scanning. The research assistant may also take on a major role in research if he or she wishes. For the research assistant position, proficiency in Cantonese is desirable but not required."

The salary is highly competitive and commensurate with expertise.

Requirements

Expertise and experience in one of these neuroscience-related methods, including fNIRS, EEG, fMRI, biopac, eyetracking.

For postdoc positions, excellent programming skills are required, while for RA positions, good interpersonal skills are essential.
