Louisiana Tech University invites applications for a postdoctoral researcher position focused on simulations in the general research area of Catalysis Science and Reaction Engineering with the goal of developing methods for accurately predicting how molecular catalysts behave when integrated with microsystem surfaces. Responsibilities include: conducting computational catalysis and reaction engineering studies integrating DFT,QM/MM,MD,ML, and AI; actively contributing to and participating in regular meetings & routine reporting, professional development & training, knowledge transfer & dissemination, peer-reviewed publications.

Requirements

Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or related field
Experience with density functional theory (DFT), quantum mechanics/molecular mechanics (QM/MM), and related techniques for reaction engineering
